Our travel agency is dedicated to creating enriching, and culturally immersive travel experiences tailored specifically for the discriminating traveler who wants an extraordinary travel adventure. We understand the unique challenges and desires of Black women travelers.  Therefore, we can assure you we will provide supportive and empowering journeys.

 

How do you ensure the safety of travelers?

We prioritize safety by partnering with trusted local guides and accommodations, providing detailed safety briefings, and offering 24/7 support during your trip. We also select destinations known for their welcoming and inclusive environments. Our company’s professional and experienced travel host will accompany you on your trip.

 

Are men allowed to join us on the trips? 

Yes, of course! We specialize in group trips.  As we stated in our Mission Statement, “We specialize in the best vacation packages for group trips, e.g. men only trips, family trips, couples’ trips, fraternity/sorority trips, corporate trips, etc. for domestic and international travel.”

 

Are children allowed to join us on the trips?

Yes, the age limit for children is 16 years and older and they must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

 

What types of trips do you offer?

We offer a variety of trips, including cultural tours, wellness retreats, adventure travel, cruises, music festivals domestic or international trips. Whether you’re looking to relax on a beach, explore historical sites, or want a new experience, we have something for you.

 

Can I travel solo, or do I need a roommate?

You can choose to travel solo, have your own roommate or we can provide you with a roommate. Our group trips are designed to foster a sense of community and sisterhood, making it easy to connect with like-minded travelers.

 

What is roommate matching?

It a process of pairing like-minded people together by completing a questionnaire to determine the compatibility for each traveler.

Do you offer customized travel packages?

We specialize in group trips; however, we will consider customized travel packages for 10 or more people, to suit your groups’ preferences and needs.  Our travel experts will work with you to create a personalized itinerary that reflects your interests.

 

How do you support Black-owned businesses during trips?

We make a conscious effort to support Black-owned businesses by partnering with local Black entrepreneurs for tours, accommodations, and dining experiences. This helps to uplift and empower the communities we visit.

 

How can I stay updated on upcoming trips and events?

By providing us with your contact information, we will update you by consistently sending you communications.  You can stay updated by subscribing to our newsletter, following us on social media, and regularly checking our website for the latest trip announcements and events.

 

What should I pack for my trip?

Packing lists vary depending on the destination and type of trip. We provide packing guides for each trip, including recommendations for clothing, accessories, and any special items you might need.

 

How do I book a trip with your agency?

Booking a trip is easy! You can visit our website, browse our available trips, and complete the booking process online. If you have any questions or need assistance, our customer service team is here to help.

 

I have never traveled internationally; are there any special provisions I need to make for my trip?

Make sure you have a valid passport.  We will make sure you are aware of the local customs, legal requirements and government regulations for our international travel destinations.  However, it is your responsibility to adhere to the laws of the country we visit.  Failures to do so can put you in legal jeopardy and you will need to obtain you own legal representation and cover your own legal expenses.  Please read our “Terms and Conditions” regarding liability.

 

How do I book a trip with Awakened Travel Experience?

Booking is easy! You can visit our website, www.awakenedtravelexp.com and brose our available trips and complete the booking process online.  You have options: (1) Pay for your trip in full; or (2) Pay your deposit and make monthly payments.  Final payment must be completed 30 days prior to travel.  Please note that all payments are non-refundable or non-transferrable to another trip or person, if you have any questions or need assistance, our customer service team is here to help you.  We can be reached at 888-498-0777 or info@awakenedtravelexp.com.
